I love to design for the human scale, and furniture design evokes a certain intimacy with materials and the human body.  Like architecture, furniture design is also concerned with form and function.  I built some of the projects below, and to work with one's hands to create furniture pieces cultivates a great respect for those who become true artisans in this discipline.
