This building was designed to be the heart of the athletics department at GCU.  Design features included a sloped green roof with massive rolled ornamental I-beams structure.  The ornamental steel structure reduced and continued down east and west colonnades juxtaposed against curvilinear stucco interior walls.  The primary gymnasium space was flanked by custom lightweight awnings stretched with translucent material for lighting and acoustics.
