The Sultan Qaboos Cultural Center is committed to educating people of the United States about the breadth and richness of Omani culture.  In 2014 AGI was tasked with fitting out the Cultural Center’s exhibits hall in their new facility in Washington DC.  This exhibits area featured a variety of custom museum style display cases, and two scaled replicas of Omani forts.

Working with MGMA architects and the Cultural Center, AGI design engineered display cases for Omani garments and objects that utilized a custom glazed stainless steel door and rail system, and incorporated integral LED case lighting.  Matching wall mounted cases were fabricated with custom operable doors, and pedestal cases featuring ornamental molding clad bases and fabric covered liners were created to display Omani jewelry, artifacts and ephemera.
