This 10,000 sqft. archaeology museum is located on the St. John's University Campus in Historic St. Mary's City Maryland. The facility features an educational pavilion, colonnades that surround the primary archaeological exhibit, and a modern exhibit area with a custom glu-lam roof and clerestory. The primary archaeology exhibit is housed by a vaulted structure designed to imitate architectural and material features of the original homestead. Other design features include a custom structural slate cladding, turne-coat stainless steel metal rooves, and a single loop geothermal radiant heating system.
