My philosophy for designing exhibits is rooted in the need for a fundamental understanding of the relationship between the architecture of a space and the goals of the exhibit within.  Once that synergistic relationship is established, one can balance the needs of the exhibition elements (be they art, artifacts, giant machines or tiny animals) against the building architecure and decide how best to integrate and compliment the two.
